The Northern Territory has opened up to most of Sydney and removed previously declared coronavirus hotspots except for the northern beaches.
"The Greater Sydney area, including the Blue Mountains along with the central coast, will be removed (as hotspots) effective immediately," Acting Northern Territory chief minister Nicole Manison said.
"The list of hot spot suburbs in the northern beaches area, which will be defined by suburb and postcode, will be listed on our coronavirus website shortly."Ms Manison said the NT Government will reinstate hot spot areas if they feel it's necessary.
"The Territory has been the safest place in the country and that has been for good reason. Every decision on every day for the last 10 months has always been about keeping Territorians safe and putting them first, and that is something that we will never change."
