well i'll give it to you guys, atm i am getting the most laughs out of this thread even tho its very quite.
was getting bored elsewhere so i thought i would throw my two bobs worth in, lol
I have to admit i was a bit surprised at the vitriolic nature of some of your comments, very colourful.
whilst i, like all, am also unhappy at seeing the ar## fall out of the sp. I like some others on the thread , perhaps, take a broader view on the situation and may even consider these lows as potential opportunity.It was not that long ago that i took some at round 32c, but i am comfortable in my understanding of the business model and confident in experienced management and technical teams ability to grow the business.
The Co has an enviable record with the drill, a disciplined approach to acquisitions and, it wld seem, no trouble raising capital from the 'big end of town'.
I, and my broker, own telephones and use them from time to time to contact the Co should we have any queries. As a shareholder of mostly smaller companies i like to be able to speak occassionally to Co representatives and find that most are more than happy to communicate with their shareholders.
eg; I rang avd other day with query, noone was available, MD is in Texas working on an acquisition and Chairman is in eastern states presenting AVD to brokers and insto's. Sounds like they are doing their jobs to me.
As recently announced the Co presented AVD in london and raised $2.6m in convertibles (@50c, well above current sp), this to me is a vote of confidence in the Co future by far more sophisticated investors than you or i. Once again sounds like they are doing their job to me.

revenue & profit up qtr on qtr tick
87% successs with drill tick
disciplined aqc + costs tick
ability to fund future growth tick
good model + exp team tick
good shareprice NO TICK

these are the fundamentals
sp got smashed in august along with everything else, but never got up.It will.Current sp leaves avd grossly undervalued imo

as shareholders we have the responsibility to do our own research b4 we invest our hard earned $$. part of this process should always b 2 look at directors past & present. surely the fact that they hold multiple directorships is no suprise to you. If it is, then you should have done your homework as it is obviously an issue for you.
I dont know where you guys are from, but over here in the wild west multiple directorships are as common as mercedes and porches are on the streets of boomtown. lol

as shareholders we also have the choice of selling out if we dont like the way things are going. I cant understand why people hang around just to bag the c##p out of Co or 'play the man'.
Must be an agenda somewhere. your not after some cheap stock are you ?? lol
