I'm no genius but like all takeovers this one is "opportunistic". The only way to combat the millionaire machine is the "NO" vote.
In this David vs Goliath battle in my opinion -
AGAINST
- there is no case for a class action
- there might not be any other bidders because there's no certainty about what's in the ground yet
- the takeover party has the balance of power - half an asset, lender, sale contract and data room knowledge
FOR
- all we have is the CTPSA action on our behalf
Generally the suitor always has the advantage and in my opinion equity/fair value will only be achieved through the strength of the shareholder's association.
I want to see revamped CVN t's and c's pricing in fair value at 2 yrs
