I'm having a house built by a builder and I needed a power point moved to the left of around 300mm, they wanted a few hundred $, so I thought bugger you lot, I'll sneak in over the break and move it myself and no one will know. Hmmmmm,....I mark it out, crank up the hammer drill, drilling the first hole, all going great until I hit some resistance, so I give it some grunt and Lo and Behold, I'm shot in the face with water , Deep Schitt as I hit a water pipe.
Bugger, I looked beforehand, the nearest pipes for future connections were at least half a meter away, but instead of the plumber running them straight up into the roof space, he run the pipes horizontally for a meter or so before going up into the roof? Come Monday, I will have to let the cat out the bag and not to mention the $' Schitt.
