Lets say we have great news. Do we really want to be making the announcement today? How responsive is the market going to be.
I can see people selling just to get out of an uncertain market regardless of the announcement.
No one is sure about Europe, china slowing demand, commodities falling. The market is a blood bath and people are irrational on days like this and won't value a good announcement for what its worth.
On the flip side, what if its a negative announcement. Such a knee jerk reaction that will drive. I for one, would love for the announcement to be postponed. Markets have fallen hard and sooner rather than later there will be some relief and that will be the right time to announce.
What do you guys think?
