Call me a Cynic, but this Commission on Sport, is a very very timely distraction from a extremely poor start to Julia's election campaign.
Thomson is off the front page, leadership challenge talk is off the front page. I love sport and I want clean sport, however the announcement was a very vague whilst being 'wide spread'. Yet no names, no charges, no detail.
Personally I would be far more interested if the Australian Crime Commission was looking into Unions, past and present. We are talking about most likely a very small percentage of corruption of sport. Whilst I think the evidence to date would provide a far far greater percentage of corruption in Unions.
Ski lodge stays, house renovations, prostitutes... the list goes on.
