AFR Street Talk consistently posts such articles and rumours- sometimes they are on the ball, other times they get it wrong! Due to the fact that Aurora can only buy max 3% every 6 months unless they make a bid under the ASX creep rule, I highly doubt they would be in discussions about only buying another 4-5% as you claim! I reckon it could fall back towards $3.30 over coming days and weeks if we don't hear anything, but I reckon the more likely scenario is that we stay in a say $3.30-$4 range unless and until a bid is forthcoming.
