And something else to keep in mind is govt taxes on top of the price, from what I saw in California recently.

Not saying you're wrong as I tend to agree with your general theory, just think you might be over estimating possible prices per gram, which flows on to affect your other numbers down the track.

100% correct, companies can import. Im pretty sure this is because the special access scheme came into place before any Australian companies could produce. I don't really know if dry flower will be banned or not, although I think it might be tariff to protect local companies.
