Just on the economics at moment... I work in a service station in a small country town outside of Adelaide and for the last few months while petrol exceeded $1.55 I found business to be very poor and slow (concerning in fact) but since fuel has dropped to $1.44 per litre it has almost boomed we have had some of our busiest times in last week or so.
I went to a restaurant last night in Salisbury which is a stones throw from Centro Hollywood and it was full, I saw the reservations book which said FULL - NO MORE BOOKINGS. So I think that it is only the prices of fuel etc that slow things up we seem to have nearly full employment for those who want to work and I figure it is the same around the country. I dont believe that at present we are in a real downturn just fuel driven downturns with fuel spiking. So therefore I believe people are shopping just the same and if Centro shops full before will remain so in the near future.
