    If you put money into VILO you need to be prepared to lose the entire amount imo.

    That's the crux of it. Unless you are confident of VIL reaching at least 15c by June 30 (currently 3.2c) then a VILO punt is not really worth it, as you wont be getting any better returns than just buying the fpo at reduced risk.
