Did you know, unlike silver, lead will have the majority of its in-ground reserves depleted by 2035? compared to Silver's 2055. Unfortunately however, around half of lead production comes from the recycling of lead batteries. Silver is in a similar boat, with 30% of production coming from recycling of materials.
Various salts of lead also used to be used as a sugar substitute because they were sweet. This had undesired outcomes called early onset death.
