In my experience on hotcopper, posters form a personal opinion (which is generally in sync with the euphoria at the time) and seek media articles to back their opinions as if that adds more creditability to their opinion.
Its all arse over head and a total screw up.
As a player in a system, you do not and should not have an opinion. You need to work and be in sync with the system. Nothing more, that is all.
As Jesse Livermore said, no one puts money in your pocket.
And a saying from the first ever financial seminar I attended “If it’s in the news, its already happened”.
