Personally, I'd like to see oil prices stabilise at US$100 until after my road trip to glorious Byron Bay at the end of the year.

I've done my bit of contributing to fuel conservation by not driving on weekdays anymore. I walk 20-30 mins just for the bus, which is a tad more expensive and less frequent.

I only drive on Friday's and Saturday's and get people to car pool as much as possible and drive slower to burn less. $1.55 petrol hurts!

However, we do need expensive fuel prices to have incentive in hybrid/electric/biofuel investments and drive innovation. Oil will not last forever and we need a solution within the next decade because living costs will be catostrophic when oil hits $3/$4 or even $8 at the pump.

Honestly sick of seeing wankers on the roads who simply don't need to drive to the city and bogans in the Western Suburbs that are fat, have fat wives and fat kids and drive a V6 Pajero for no reason.
