Have a look at the sell at 4.1c. Don't be fooled by that.
For the inexperienced he is trying to push the price down so that he can buy more cheaply. This is called capping.
Realistically if he wanted to offload that many shares he would not telegraph it so early to the market, he would swoop from off screen. He is also playing on peoples fears of the DOW's drop last night.
For what it's worth, those who are relatively new at this game I feel that it is a good set yourself up with a pro system. I use Etrade Pro and have found it to be reliable.
This way you can see the fake bidders and sellers more easily without having to hit the refresh button.
Finally the stockmarket is a wonderful game and it is one of the only games in the world where we can truely play as a team, eg this forum.
It is a pity that some use it to feather their own nests, but my attitude, and I'm sure the attitude of other quality posters, is that there is appoximately 3 to 4 trillion dollars traded on the world stockmarkets each day and I only want a small portion of it.
We as small investors have the advantage, as we can react more quickly that larger instos, but we need to stick together. I'm fairly sure that those who post for their own gain may be not who they make out to be. Don't forget large broking firms from all over the world keep an eye on this forum and forums like these.
By the way a good sign for any stock is to have buyers from off screen swoop, if you watched UMC trading yesterday this was very evident.
The reverse can also be true, if buyers are building up, sometimes these can be daytraders trying to get in on any dips.
For me if I want a share I don't telegraph it, I buy it.
cheers and please disregard if you think this is nonsense.
