The CCP is just like the schoolyard bully, intimidates, threatens, gesticulates and you never know when he's about to lash out and punch you in the face.
Untrustworthy at best, potentially deadly at worst. Best to avoid and go around rather than confront, take away what they want recognition of being the big bad boy of the schoolyard, deflate their ego one step at a time. They usually find allies for a short while because of bravado but soon loose them when they realise the emporer has no clothes.
The ones who suffer are the chinese people who are really not involved in 'the game'.
