You can be compassionate and have empathy but still expect the justice system to prevail, IE innocent till proven guilty, if somebody came out 2 years after the alleged offence claiming one of my sons sexually assaulted a women but instead of going to police went to the media i would be asking serious questions as to the merits of the alleged victim, im sure if it was your son you would be the same..
