Well it was an interesting day today, nonetheless I was hoping for better. But with what has been happening all across the board today this little stock did relatively ok!

Malmanu, I agree with your sentiments, in fact I have a good friend who uses a resmed continuous pressure device and his wife has had to get used to the continuous noise from the device, but then again he probably fits into the more sever aponea sufferer category. But the bulk of people with sleep aponea fall into the mild to moderate range.

    What do the stats say:

24% of men suffer from sleep apnea of some form, while only 9% of women do. Women are far more likely to suffer from sleep apnea after going through menopause. After menopause, the percentage is roughly the same as it is for men.

So, with the increasing obesity epidemic in Australia let alone across the entire world, the flow-on is for a significant increase in the incidents of sleep aponea and such disorders. A two edge sword really, increased overall costs to each and every one of our hip pockets as taxpayers, yet huge potential for sales and profits for companies like somnomed and their shareholders like us committed few.

Malmanu, all the signs are there for a booming marketplace for this product and with the distributors all but signed up across the globe, along since it now has approval within the US that has in general an automatic flow on to the rest of the world, why are people concerned about SOM???? I for one am not.
