I think it would only be palatable to some massive enterprise software companies such as Oracle or SAP.
Remember that Oracle took out another quality ASX tech Aconex for way below its future potential value. Same thing is happening now with Altium.
Unfortunately the ASX will remain a dividend index as anything that can dominate the world either lists in the US or gets taken out for a song.
I think it would only be palatable to some massive enterprise...
