Because they were as thick as thieves when the 'dud' Turnbull was their in name only leader. I've always had my suspicions about Morrison and when Alan Jones starts to praise him, my suspicions grow even more, because when it comes to character assessment Jones nearly always gets it wrong!
So far Morrison is not that much different to Turnbull in the policy department - I'm prepared to give him a chance but I think he'll disappoint! Far too much optimism after Turnbull was shown the door and in the process Turnbull was able to at least determine who his replacement was going to be and it wasn't to be Dutton. See the pattern, a continuation of the left leaning agenda!
The purge never really occurred - just a replacement of the same as before!
