Been holding SHG for > 4 years myself, and made enough money to go out with this current QGC offer and be a happy man. In saying that I'd love to be a happier wealthier man, as I'm sure is also the case with SHG directors and other shareholders. I just can't see Tony & the boys being happy with this offer, I'm sure they see more on the Horizon. There is a lot of International players with $$$ to spend circling the local CSM market likes sharks in a bucket of blood. IMHO I'd say we'll be snapped up by one of those at a price more conducive with the export LNG price. After all our gas has been designated for this usage. QGC's offer reflects more the local conventional gas price.

I agree QGC would be smart to aquire WCL and RPM given there respective relationship and geographical locality to SHG. Would certainly give them a stronger foot hold. Would most likely make then a bigger t/o target than they already are.
