Quite right. Unfortunately all Keen did was generate a whole lot of emotive nonsense on this site , by many with extreme views and little if nothing of what these guys said came to pass.Most of those punters have disappeared as have some worthy property site contributors as a result of the bitchiness. Bit like parliament really. Seems debating is equated with leadership which in turn is saying that your best leaders are the best talkers. Life seems to prove the opposite is often true.
The above is not a shot at the emotive bears however showing one's , often justified I might add , frustration with the housing system by reacting in an extreme way can be hugely destructive to wealth building especially if the market passes you by.Saying something should or should not happen is pure nonsense. What goes up must go down -really? Tell that to the owner of the Mona Lisa , just paint on canvas , worth zilch. Scarcity , demand supply , replacement costs will always mean something especially in the country of domicile as opposed to innane comparisons to Spain , Portugal and so on. Because one man in my street is about to go bust because of mismanagement it does not mean everyone in that street is destined for the same fate. Just does not work that way.Always have said - study and read the market to make money.
