Yes but Albanese said during the election campaign Labor has a plan to bring down electricity prices. You may have missed it because most of the time he was talking about his single parent upbringing and some economics paper he wrote as an undergraduate in the 80’s, and flapping around in media conferences completely clueless to basic economic indicators. But he definitely did say electricity would be cheaper under Labor. Interesting because this week the media has reported how the electricity supply infrastructure needs a massive overhaul, and I recall Scomo saying the supply charge represents 30% of the cost for electricity to consumers. So does anyone know what Labor’s plan is to lower electricity prices and how it will be funded?
