I was born in Collie and my brother was born just outside of Albany. (That's not why I am tipping Albany though. Plus I reserve the right to change my mind!) If I recall correctly Albany does have some very nice low gradient land access areas. Although there are some cliffs as well...? I'm sure they have sorted that out. I take it the wave resource is the best to the south west of Albany? I was just having a look on Google Maps. I agree the strongest consideration is you don't want to have to pump the water up a cliff! You would lose a substantial amount of energy in doing so.
I haven't really called any companies when I have had a question. Always thought thought they would be unable to comment due to confidentiality. Will have to rethink that assumption!
