I'd be disappointed if Beach went for SXY now as I think SXY doesn't offer the same value others do. DLS for example is far more attractive as it has better shale acreage IMO and similar oil to SXY and only about half the market cap.
Beach already tried and failed with DLS, but that doesn't mean they wont try again. DLS does seem to be going through the roof ATM which indicates there may be some competition for any future bid.
But ICN is the way to go for now and definitely before Beach are compelled to drill the horizontal well into 855 in June.
If they don't make a play before then ICN will be priced out of the market.
