Lithium is not just "cars".... too many things are using it now to list fully but household battery storage, trucks, boats, trains, motor cycles, aircraft (eventually), drones, misc chemical use, etc.
Boats are a potential huge source as they can afford the lithium batteries as ballast.
There will be no building new giga-factories unless supply is guaranteed.
Lithium is not just "cars".... too many things are using it now...
