Yesterday a thief pushed my 85 year old mother about outside her home unit at Coorparoo in Brisbane, stole her keys and robbed the place in front of her.
She described him as fair skinned, slim and about 20 years old.
He made off with all her jewelery and a few other items probably totaling 10 to 20 grand. But the jewelery was family heirlooms and that is what has hurt the most.
Our society is going down hill fast when helpless old ladies are being accosted and robbed like this in their own homes.
