Most people on hc would be old enough to remember when being gay was actually against the law in this country. It wasn't that long ago. Gay bashing and murdering was a thing. Gay people were ostracised in the community and people were literally disowned by their families.
Can you imagine how tough life would have been for a gay young person back in those days ? When they were being shunned by society and told that they had something ' wrong ' with them . No wonder they had mental health issues.

All that was driven by people like you. You should be ashamed of yourself.

When as I expect yo will know given your opinion must be based on something concrete sometime...when was the last time a person in Australia convicted for simply being gay? Now I am not talking about going at in the public toilets somewhere and getting caught or prostituting, drugs etc and anything of the like..... when was that last time a copper expressly investigate any person on the sole basic of their gayness and based on that the magistrate passed down a criminal conviction.
