Everybody in Perth has friends or relis who have worked in mines. The stories are thick and fast and some good and bad. Lot of young guys not equiped to deal with so much money and yes, buy the cars, holidays and end up with not much wealth. But why not they work hard they play hard why be a miserable sod like Formguide, saving his scraps to get a cheap house years down the track. Eventually at some stage the young guys either leave the industry and tell tall stories or pull their heads in and buy some investments. The banks and real estate agents love them heard stories of young guys buying units around Highgate and inner city Perth in partnerships so when they come back they have accom and close to action. I admire them, go for it while you can so what if it ends they will probably do more in a short time than most people sitting around coffee shops do in a lifetime.
