For all we know, ISIS could be authentic Islam after all and everything we currently take to be islam simply half hearted Islam.
All that said, as far as healing Islam goes I don't care whether it heals or not, as long as it isn't in my country. It is incompatible with our society whether it be Islam a la ISIS or Islam lite.
