yes I agree, and in SA, the dummy bid practice is illegal... when i get time I will relate a real story of an auction some years ago where this practice forced bidding up over 90K in a 450K sale.... i felt so sorry for the "sucessful" bidder at the time,
as you point out, many 10,s of thousands of $'s were involved
what is anoying is that some believe that you would just makeup such stuff, because they dont like the message you want to make... really thats so poor, really a blight on the freedom of making posts on this thread
