Was my 1st year in trading and it was when I use to trade on T3 when I didn't have the "money" to afford the stock in the first place. I did have the money to cover the losses if need be though. After ESI and a few other stocks, the above turned into a rule that was never to be repeated again.
ESI: I followed the hype run up and sold out with the almost 50K profit. As I was new to the market and thinking hey everything goes up and up and up not down down down... I purchased on the open and also at the top 0.115... then within a blink of an eye it was down to the mid 9's and then 8's... By the time I sold I only got .078 for them. I still look at that trade of ESI as a win as the win out weighs the loss, but in the back of my mind I see it as a $35k loss.
