Buddha taught:
Open are the doors to the Deathless to those with ears. Let them show their conviction. Perceiving trouble, O Brahma, I did not tell people the refined, sublime Dhamma.
if we have doubt about this, to explain:
Faith [conviction], monks, also has a supporting condition, I say, it does not lack a supporting condition. And what is the supporting condition for faith? 'Suffering' should be the reply.
the suttas are not for those still engrossed in & infatuated with the world & creation
