According to the Bible, in order to be 'saved' or to gain entrance into eternity or the cosmic consciousness or however you like to define it, you must 'believe in Jesus Christ' and 'follow' him. This is not a religious exercise despite what many have been duped into believing. Following Christ means to act like he did. I don't see that it's necessary to say the 'right' words and follow the 'right' rules. The Bible teaches that the new covenant is written in our hearts and that at pentecost, the spirit of God was shed on ALL flesh. The holy spirit is something one either has or doesn't and it is evident in how one lives their life and not in how much they are able to understand and apply every jot and tittle of western theology.
Jesus said “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. "
Those who truly seek will always find, regardless of their location in time or space.
Point 2,
As God is eternal and knows the future, and we know from the Bible that his will is that everyone be saved then it's not unreasonable to believe that he has placed every single person in the exact circumstances that they need to see the futility of everything other that Christ. Out of all the possible universes that God COULD have created, this was the one where the most people freely made that choice.
There is only one God and he will found by all who seek, regardless of their situation.
