Intrinsic value of BPT's 90mmboe @ a $15 margin is $1.35billion plus about $300 million cash gives $1.65 billion.
Its worth noting that that $15 margin is extremely conservative since alot of the infrastructure is already in place or very nearby to the reserves.
Note the 90 million boe doesn't include any egypt discoveries or any the 2013FY cooper discoveries.
Then of course there is all the upside from Tanzania, NT, Romania, Egypt and the cooper shale.
In the last 10 years BPT has grown from a small spec to an ASX100 listed stock so management must be doing something right.
Not sure where those guys get their ideas from.
