your money your call should be hotcopper tv

Does anyone else watch the "Your Money Your Call" TV program on Sky news? For those that dont, every Tues, Wed and Thurs night viewers ring in and ask 2 experts for their opinion on whether they should buy/sell or hold a particular stock.

While it's often interesting, it does pee me off that so many people call in to ask about speccie stocks, only to be told by the experts, day in day out, "sorry, but I dont know anything about that stock and I wouldnt advise you to have small/medium cap stocks in your portfolio at all anyway".

The program is obviously very appealing to small cap investors (hence all the speccie calls) but doesnt deliver the info they want. It is really quite frustrating to watch at times. It's not hard to get an opinion on the top 50 stocks - we can all open any paper on any day for that - but there is a huge market for info on speccie stocks that the program isnt tapping into.

What they should do is devote one of their nights, probably Thursday night, to a "High Risk/High Reward" version of the program and get experts on small/medium cap stocks to answer the calls. Sure, it's a specialised field, but they could concentrate on different sectors, or a couple of different sectors in each program.

It would be an awesome program, like watching Hotcopper TV, but with comments from experts who actually know what they are talking about.

So if you agree with me, please reply to this thread as a show of support and i'll make sure Sky News knows we would all be interested in watching it. I bet after 2 months on air it will be twice as popular as their other nights featuring big cap stocks.
