"like many institutions, they won't touch the speculation end of ASX" to put it in plain English fund mangers are not permitted to invest in penny dread fulls no matter how good they are how good their fundamentals are or an SP going from 1 cent to a dollar, funds need to be able to have liquidity available if the need arises ,SBL traded 18 million last week for a fund to get out they need way bigger figures, also They are restricted to SP500 or 250 i am not certain which,so fund managers are not going to ramp a penny stock when they can ramp Woolies or like and one more thing Fund managers hate to give free information that will not benefit them.
