This is taxpayer money and should never have been handed to these disgraceful religions. I'm sure the bulk of it would have been sent off to their headquarters to be added to consolidated revenue. As an Australian taxpayer I object to this blatant grab for cash but nothing surprises me about the religions. It also shows the incompetence of the federal government. These monies should be repaid.
