To all HC gallops enthusiasts

Here is your chance to nominate a horse that you found to be the best of 2013.

For me it has to be a toss up between the two killer B's Buffering and Boban. Both proved themselves at Group 1 level.

Buffering out-toughed the Hong Kong based champion Lucky Nine at Moonee Valley for his first Group 1 win and followed that up with further victories culminating in a tough win in Perth.

Here's some vision of Buffering



Boban proved to be a bulletproof galloper over the spring and aptly named after the striker who killed off the Socceroos campaign for the World Cup. 3rd last and 3 wide in the Epsom to get up. Smashed against the rails at Caulfield to win (a touch reminiscent of Mine Than Birds win in the Kentucky Derby) and creamed them in the Emirates in Melbourne.
