Evening MG,
indeed Glasier and AM are friendly. But Glasier is not going to allow WU to get bought without putting it into production first. once WU is in production in 2016, everyone will come knocking on his door because WU will be one of only 5 american uranium producers in an age where american utilities want to source their feedstock uranium from american only production.
there is no other bidder for blr. any bidder would have come in march. it is possible other companies have looked at the financial shape that blr is in and looked at the mess at HT in terms of lack of permitting, cash requirements and of course the biggie--- the $13m payment outstanding and said 'let glasier have it, let glasier clean up the mess'.. it is quite possible other companies have looked at blr and said ablation is not able to be scalable commercialised and the price glasier is paying for blr is far too high. this is what i think has happened and is the real reason no other bidder has publicly emerged.
either way, those that yelp 'no vote' but cannot offer any positive plan forward for blr in a no vote situation are really starting to look quite ignorant to the reality of the uranium sector.
