Given the SP has been trading around the 10-11c mark for a week and has only briefly touched 12c, he has to offer the new shares at a discount if he wants to get existing SH to stump up and buy. One could surmise that existing SH are more likely to hold on rather than try to make a quick buck in a quick day trade. I think everyone would rather see some stability to the SP and a steady upward trend, rather than the volatility we have seen prior to the TH.

Setting a higher SP raises more funds perhaps, but provides less incentive for SH to take up the offer, as they maight be able to pick up shares on the open market for less.

I think Minno9 has a point, JH has calculated how much he needs to get us across the line and is not being greedy. He is on the record many times staing he was looking to generate cashflow ASAP, and I am guessing the extra cash raised will get us to that point, negating the need for future CR's
