From memory, the pipeline crosses the lease about 7 miles from the wellsite however the terraine is mountainous, or untamed wilderness at least. When this was discussed several months ago, it was stated that the pipeline would follow the route of the existing access road which gives a run of approximately 15 miles.
If you have the energy to wade through the history, T4P posted some graphics of this. The terrain looks pretty rough and the road is very windey, presumeably to best negotiate the valley bottoms and gradients over this rough country.
As stated, numbers are from my very fallable memory. I'm hopeful that a year from now all this will be pretty irrelevant and we will all be laughing about it on the back deck of our yachts.
