    There would be a lot more tenants on the street as the land lords would use what means are available to them and that is to boot the tenant, advertise a new higher rent price and get a new tenant to pay the higher price. And that would turbo charge rent increases.
    We have tenants we like and have only given modest rent increases to cover rising costs we all face, but a rent freeze would make us consider the above scenario and it would turn even modest increases into a painful experience.
