I don't post much, but when i read that "non diversification is the secret to real wealth" i always think of the poster who so boldly wrote in early 2000 that he sold all his/her holdings in all companies, put it all into a little company called Pulsat Communications and went on holiday... No more a week later, the ass fell out of the market and this "non diversified" investor probably took a 50% hit in one weekend! Is he still investing today? Has he recovered all his losses? Does he still have a wife? Who knows? But i am sure he wishes he was well diverified that day in 2000...
Everyone has a different style, in an uptrending bull market it is very easy to be fooled... A lot of people got very rich very quickly in 2000, but also got very poor much quicker...
Just my thoughts!
