I agree you, Carey but imo both are very uncertain.
On the note of the recent announcement of impairment loss on UK shale asset on AJL balance sheet. This looks bad for AJL valuation but my guess is that it now gives the company option to sue for loss/damages due to unreasonable moratorium on fracking. You cannot sue if it is not accounted as loss on your balance sheet. So this is a possible scenario imo.
