I've already got control of the estate.
Handing it over to the PT means that the third party can hold out her bowl to them and get access to some of the money without having to go through me.
It will be all aboveboard and legal and it won't come back to bite me on the tush later.
The minor will lose 20-30% of the estate but that cannot be helped.
I'll be helping the minor out later on if needed anyway.
