What follows is what is biased. Pretend reporting from Limited News. Nothing the ABC does comes even close to what is effectively reporting in a club magazine.

Here it is:

"Malcolm Turnbull is coming home with the wind in his sails, Bill Shorten is running out of puff."

That's how Dennis Shanahan, political editor of Limited News' The Australian so-called newspaper, called it Friday.

The advertorial he wrote for the Coalition that masqueraded as a news report is what he wanted to happen.

As events transpired, that differed markedly from reality.
