Can you define what you mean by ‘whatever it takes’ so I can make an informed decision.
For example do you mean gun them down and/or place them in indefinite detention including children.
I would think there is no simplistic answer. Naturally we need border security and we need to patrol those borders. However, we also need a humane process to deal with those involved. Where possible rich countries should do their best to assist countries where famine strikes or war has displaced people so they can reasonably survive and be able to remain or return to their place of origin.
