Total BS even if your kid did one hour. And even if your kid worked 50 kms away, the work experience is invaluable unless you are teaching your kid ' it's better to be on the dole than work if you don't like all the conditions'
Some kids want to only work between end of school and home time. Why cant a kid do an hour or two on the way home from school?
