the reason that Insurance Liability has boomed in the last 10 years is simply because of AMBULANCE CHASING LAWYERS. If these hyenas were prevented from encouraging people to pursue, even trivial, claims - there would be way less of a problem. Combine that with the cowardice of judges who fail to make reasonable decisions for fear of criticism, and you have what's happening now. The law hasn't changed to make it easier for 'victims' to rort the system - it's the behaviour of those charged to properly execute it that's changed.
