My suspicion is that CEM is an account used by an insto or other investor to downramp. I have asked CEM (and rfc which I believe is the other account used like this) to answer this a number of times and a) have never received a direct answer from these accounts to my question, or b) get reported (in my view, by these accounts) for flaming/baiting (which i am not doing). I believe it is fair and reasonable for hotcopper posters to understand why it is these two accounts pop up only during periods where there is a downtrend or in the days that follow a less favourable announcement than was expected. My theory is these accounts represent individuals or instos seeking to accumulate or taking short positions. I have been told by a hotcopper moderator I could be suspended for making a post like this but I believe this kind of conduct (if CEM and rfc are doing as I suspect) is likely contrary to hotcopper and asic rules, and not in the spirit of which this forum is intended.
